The Auditor General is participating in the 4th Auditor General Conference of the BRICS countries, which focused on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.

The Auditor General who spoke at the conference being held in Ufa, Russia; He pointed out that several audits have been carried out in Ethiopia that have taken into account sustainable development goals.

According to Ms. Damte, efforts are being made to ensure the benefit of citizens by successfully completing huge projects and starting new projects in Ethiopia, which is undergoing rapid development changes.

On the sidelines of the conference, the Auditor General held bilateral discussions with the Auditor General Offices of various BRICS member countries.

They have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Russian Chamber of Accounts and the Brazilian Court of Audit Office on capacity building activities, technology audits and other areas.

The Auditor General is expected to hold similar discussions with the Office of the Auditor General of the People's Republic of China and the Government of India in the coming days.
