More than one million people of Addis Ababa responded to the call of the Honorable Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed and went out despite the morning rain and snow to plant more than 4.5 million saplings in the nationwide 500 million seedling band night planting program.

Employees of government, private, non-governmental institutions, religious institutions, teachers, health professionals, students, security bodies, women, our city's youth, investors, artists, sports families, media professionals, disabled people, children, brides, fathers, veterans, seniors, brides. Ambassadors, diplomats, and the international community living in Addis Ababa also participated in the venue we prepared for them.

The resident of our city has made a great story!

Believe me, we planted 3 million in one night, this year we planted more than 4.5 million.

By working together, we have done a great job that will allow us to build Addis Ababa, which is comfortable for living and working, with its natural balance preserved for future generations.

We are happy to congratulate the residents of our city who accepted our call and prepared seedlings, transported them and dug holes.
