President of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs, Haji Mohammad Abdi, delivered a message at the celebration. He said that Prophet Muhammad was a prophet who taught peace, love and unity while he was on earth.

 

Prophet Muhammad said that his good character made him loved all over the world, so his name is celebrated every year and his birthday is celebrated.

 

He said that the Muslim people should take the teachings of Prophet Muhammad's good deeds and work to strengthen the peace of the country and the unity of its people.

 

The participants who we met celebrating the festival said that celebrating this year's birthday together with the Cross Demera festival, which is celebrated by the followers of the Christian faith, will make it a double celebration.
