Mayor Adanech Abebe and the members of the city administration cabinet held a luncheon and dressing ceremony for the elderly.

 

Mayor Mrs. Adanech Abebe said that the foundation stone was laid today and the old people's center will be replaced by a new and modern center at the site where the women's rehabilitation and training center will be built.

 

There were only 150 elderly people in the existing elderly center, and it was mentioned that the newly built facility with the cooperation of Sunshine Construction has the capacity to accommodate more than 750 elderly people.

 

At the same ceremony, Mayor Adanech Abebe welcomed the street children living in the center and held a lunch party for them.

 

He announced that they will be given the opportunity to participate in job creation at the Women's Rehabilitation Center which was started and will be built today.
