Addis Ababa, When we celebrate the holiday, we should open our hearts to forgiveness and preach peace and brotherhood, said Oromia Region Governor Shimeles Abdisa.

The Head of Government has sent a message of congratulations on Christmas.

In his message, he wished all Christians in the country and abroad a peaceful Christmas.

The head of government has said that things that break the society's values and morals have left us in a challenge today.

He emphasized that we will continue the journey of prosperity with the society to change this hateful approach and to bring peace and stability to the country as well as the building of a democratic system.

The head of government said that forgiveness is the key to overcoming the challenges our country is facing and for this he will work hard to break the bridge of hatred and build the bridge of love.

When we celebrate the festival, we should keep our hearts open to forgiveness and preach peace and brotherhood, Mr. Shimelis said.

They expressed their good wishes for the festival to be one of peace, love, unity, respect and solidarity.
