- The Addis Ababa City Roads Authority has started road work since last Saturday night to remove the roundabout and replace it with traffic lights in order to ease the traffic congestion around Carl Square.

 

At present, the work of lifting and paving the road has been completed and the road is in service. Other remaining finishing works, including the installation of traffic lights by the Addis Ababa Traffic Management Agency, will be carried out in the following days without affecting the traffic in the area.

 

The office would like to express its thanks to the road users and stakeholders who have patiently waited for the traffic improvement work done on Carl Square to be carried out according to the planned plan.
