**********************
Professor Lapso Getahun Dlebo was born on May 12, 1930 at Kufala Habele in the former Kenbata and Hadia Districts. He attended Bicho Hossaena Mission School and Government School and his secondary education at Emperor Glaudeos High School and Bible Academy in Adama.

He also received his master's degree in African history from Howard University, and his doctorate in Ethiopian, African and European history and philosophy from the same university.
After completing his doctorate, he was given the title of professor and taught at Virginia Union University for two years. When the revolution broke out, he returned to his country, Ethiopia, saying, 'I must be a part of history.' When expressing their feelings at that time, they say, "I came worshiping the unity of Ethiopia as a deity."
They are scholars who have returned to their country and served their country by pushing their research and teaching around the same feelings and ideas.
In the American country, when he studied his first degree in philosophy and history, he was highly praised by coming out of five hundred students. As a result, many American universities have offered them free education as an alternative.
Professor Lapso Getahun Dlebo has published several history books based on his research in his field of study and is known for providing in-depth analysis of major national historical events in the Ethiopian media, such as radio and television.

The professor, who is said to have his own philosophy (school of thought) in the study of Ethiopian history, has heard from the interviews that he has given many challenges and objections because of his teaching.
Prof. Lapso, who is acknowledged by his colleagues to be transparent, honest and respectful of people, said, "All people are the same; they come from the same race; They say that what separates man from man is his work.
It can be seen that some research works have been criticized for including ideas that come to conclusions quickly and reflect emotions.
They have the principle that "If the history of Ethiopia is not for everyone, it will not be for anyone."
