Dredawa Mayor Kedir Juhar announced that the results of social and economic development that confirmed public participation and benefit were recorded in the completed fiscal year.

 

The 3rd round of the 3rd term of the Dredawa administration's 8th regular meeting is being held.

The mayor of the administration, Kedir Juhar, presented to the assembly a report on the implementation of the plans of the executive and municipal service sectors for the completed fiscal year.

 

In their report, they stated that they have recorded social and economic development results that confirmed the universal participation and benefit of the rural and urban people in the completed fiscal year.

 

He mentioned that activities have been carried out by coordinating justice and security agencies and establishing reliable peace and security.

 

He pointed out that in health, education, job creation, ensuring food security, road construction and other sectors, works have been done to alleviate the problems of development and good governance of the people.

 

He said encouraging results have been achieved in the coordinated efforts of the administration to alleviate the problems of unemployment in rural and urban areas in the last fiscal year.

 

He said that more than 19 thousand 660 people, including experts graduated from various universities in rural and urban areas, were planned to create permanent employment opportunities, and 91.9 percent of the plan was achieved by creating employment opportunities for more than 18 thousand 80 people.

 

ESA reported that in addition to permanent job opportunities, 3,800 youths and women have been given temporary job opportunities in various development projects.

 

According to the mayor, There is a bright and stable working environment in Dredawa that allows the development results achieved in the last financial year to be continued in a better way.

 

The chairpersons of various standing committees of the Dredawa administration who participated in the meeting presented their opinions on the report based on the monitoring and control observations they conducted in rural and urban areas in the last financial year.
