Safaricom has started a customer network service trial in Adama and Bahir Dar

Addis Ababa, Safaricom Ethiopia has announced the start of a series of customer network service trials in the cities of Adama and Bahir Dar.

It has been stated that Adama and Bahir Dar customers will be able to select their phone numbers and purchase SIM cards on the Safaricom Ethiopia line starting in 2007.

It is said that Safaricom Ethiopia SIM card customers can try out the network for a month with a subscription starter package containing data, voice and text messages.

In addition, it is pointed out that customers can get SIM card sales registration, purchase of airtime and handsets as well as customer support from stores and shops where the Safaricom Ethiopia label is posted.

According to the information we received from the company, customers of the test network can use data, exchange calls and text messages with Safaricom Ethiopia and Ethio Telecom customers, and make international calls.
