It was stated that vehicles with tax-exempt vehicles should carry a special board.

 

The Ministry of Transport and Logistics has announced that vehicles with duty-free vehicles should return their posters and pick up the new license plate.

 

They have been required to return the board in the first three months of June 20, 2014.

 

Public Relations and Communication Affairs Officer with the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, Tatek Negash, said the government has issued Directive No. 41/2007 for people with disabilities to import duty-free vehicles to alleviate their harassment.

 

The policy stipulates that users who have imported duty-free vehicles will be given a special license plate.

 

According to Tatek, the ministry has been preparing to implement the directive.

 

This will give vehicles priority in gas stations, parking lots and other facilities, he said.

 

He pointed out that there are people who are illegally importing vehicles after they have been exempted from duty-free taxation and are using the vehicles for unauthorized purposes.

 

Vehicles that do not carry the license plate will not receive third-party insurance and annual vehicle inspection services during the period, Tatek said.
