#Ethiopia It has been announced that free taxi transport services will be provided in Addis Ababa in reference to the Servant Day celebrated tomorrow

 

The Joint Committee of 13 Minibus Taxi and 3 Higer Bus Associations of Addis Ababa said that free taxi transportation services will be provided in the capital from 1 am to 3 am.

 

It is recalled that the government communication service stated that the days of the month of Pagumen are celebrated in a manner that strengthens the value of citizens' solidarity, the culture and feeling of service and national unity.

 

Thus, Pagumen 1- Day of Service, Pagumen 2- Day of Sacrifice, Pagumen 3- Virtue Day, Pagumen 4- Productivity Day, Pagumen 5- Birth Day and Pagumen 6- Solidarity Day are celebrated.

 

The Joint Committee of 13 Minibus Taxi and Three Higer Bus Associations of Addis Ababa has announced that free taxi transport services will be provided from 1:00 AM to 3:00 AM in observance of Pagumen 1 - Service Day, which will be celebrated tomorrow.

 

According to the coordinator of the joint committee, Ato Ayalew Seum, the day is an opportunity to express gratitude to the customers who use transport regularly to serve Ethiopia and its people.

 

Therefore, they said that minibus taxis that provide taxi transport in all directions of the city will provide free transport service from 1 am to 3 am.

 

For this, he pointed out that 5 thousand 250 taxis in all 13 taxi associations will provide the service.

 

On the other hand, the minibus taxi drivers said that we have made the necessary arrangements to provide the free transport service from tomorrow morning.

 

Although the service is not said to be sufficient, they also stated that they are interested in strengthening this activity in the future as it helps to strengthen the spirit of service and strengthen Ethiopian unity.

 

ESA reported that the representative of the Communication Terminal Taxi Ordinary Enforcement Association, Yoda Tnbit Abebe, said that they are ready to do their part to run the taxi service smoothly.
