During our stay in Denver, we had fruitful discussions with Mayor Michael Hancock, city leaders and Chamber of Commerce officials about the ways in which the areas we have identified to work together can be translated into action.

 

We have provided a comprehensive overview of our city to Denver City Chamber of Commerce officials and members. The officials appreciated the work we have started to make Addis Ababa beautiful and shared their experience about the great benefits of working in coordination with the government and the private sector for the development of the city.

 

As there is a large number of educated young people in our city Addis Ababa, we have discussed in detail the benefits of working closely in different sectors by coordinating with institutions in Denver to bring their services that create job opportunities for the youth to Addis Ababa.

 

I would like to once again thank Mayor Hancock and his colleagues for making our stay in Denver a success, especially for the exceptional hospitality we received.
