Mayor Adane spent the celebration together by attending the Hope Light Center

 

Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abebe spent the New Year together at the newly built Tesapeh Berhan food center in Kirkos Sub-City.

 

The mayor along with BKG Foundation spent the festival with the beneficiaries of the center.

 

At the same time, Mayor Adan said, "Today, when the new year has just begun, it is a blessing to share a meal with you and give you love, and it brings great joy."

 

He said that our value of caring for each other should grow and be passed on to the next generation.

 

The owner of BKG Foundation, Ato Layneh Kende, on his part, explained that his organization is participating in various national issues in social service, education, health and sports.

 

He also stated that they will organize and put women to work at the food center and provide 800,000 birr worth of food and support of 200,000 birr for the start-up.

 

The information we received from the mayor's office indicated that Kirkos BKG Foundation's Tesep Berhan Food Center is feeding citizens who cannot afford to eat once a day.
