New changes expected in the education sector from 2015:-

???? The breakdown that we have experienced as a society is the problem of the quality of education in the education sector, so it works on the quality.

In 2015, students will begin their studies with the new curriculum.

???? Universities that used to be three years will be four years, and disciplines that were four years will be five years.

???? The education system which was previously 4-2-2-2 will be 6-2-4, meaning (from 1-6 primary level), 7-8 and 9-12.

???? This year, 11th and 12th graders will be made to complete the curriculum of the previous school.

???? The exit exam that was given to degree students in certain courses will be given to all graduates.

???? When the exam is given, the candidates of the national exam will be admitted to the universities and colleges and the system will be implemented.

These are the ideas raised by Minister of State for Education Fanta Mandefro (Dr.) during his stay at ETV.
