Members of delegations from Niger, Tanzania, Zambia and Côte d'Ivoire entered Addis Ababa for an official visit.

A delegation consisting of senior government officials from Niger, Tanzania, Zambia and Côte d'Ivoire arrived in Addis Ababa to visit various development activities in Ethiopia.

When the members of the delegation arrived at the Bole International Airport, they were welcomed by senior officials of the Ethiopian government.

The members of the delegation included ministers and other officials representing agriculture, animal and fishery resources, micro, small and medium enterprises and other institutions from Niger, Tanzania, Zambia and Côte d'Ivoire.

It is said that they will visit various development activities during their four-day working visit to Ethiopia.

During their stay, they will visit wheat, avocado and coffee plantations in the Oromia region, Dr. Jared Teshome, advisor to the President's Office of the Oromia region, said.

ESA reported that the visit is of great importance in poverty reduction, job creation and ensuring food security in Africa.

It is also stated that it is important to strengthen the exchange of experiences like in Africa.
