#Ethiopia Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said, "It is important to lay a foundation on the green footprint program to build a nation and a generation that are public truth and wealth."

 

The Prime Minister and First Lady Znash Tayah together with the leaders and staff of the Prime Minister's Office started their green footprint by planting apple saplings in Mount Yeka.

 

In his speech at the same time, Prime Minister Abiy stated that in this year's Green Footprint program, apart from planting saplings, quality-centered work will be carried out.

 

Accordingly, he pointed out that 100,000 apple saplings will be planted in the office alone during the winter season.

 

It has been stated that 10,000 apple seedlings will be planted overnight in the green footprint program that started today in Mount Yeka.

 

The Prime Minister said in a message posted on his social media page, "We will finish what we started. When we complete this year's green footprint planting, Ethiopia will plant 31 billion saplings."

 

"Come on! Let's make this story together!" They called.
