The Addis Ababa Peace and Security Administration Office has announced that administrative action has been taken against disruptive activities in the Addis Ababa schools area.

 

The Addis Ababa Peace and Security Administration Offices announced that starting from 8:00 today, various administrative measures have been taken against businesses that are disrupting the learning process in schools in all districts of Addis Ababa.

The head of the office, Ms. Lydia Girma, gave a statement to the media in the evening regarding the law and order enforcement activities carried out today.

The official added that action has been taken against 194 khat houses, 176 liquor houses, 21 illegal garage houses, 126 rubber houses, 25 shisha houses, as well as 244 other commercial houses and rubber houses, which have committed various destructive actions around 206 schools in 121 districts.

The official said that 99 of these businesses have been sealed and that these businesses that have been taken action today are preventing students from attending their studies properly and also making them subject to addiction, so the action will continue to be strengthened.
