On the sidelines of the 42nd UNESCO General Conference being held in Paris, the Minister of Education and the President of the National UNESCO Commission, Professor Birhanu Nega, held discussions with the Ministers of Education of Australia and China.

 

Professor Birhanu Nega in his discussion with Chinese Minister of Education Huai Jinping; They discussed the educational cooperation between the two countries. They also agreed to strengthen the existing cooperation.

 

On the other hand, Professor Birhanu in his discussion with Australian Education Minister Tim Watts; They exchanged views on bilateral and multilateral issues. They also advised on areas of cooperation that can be worked on to improve the quality of education.

 

According to information from the Ethiopian Embassy in France, the discussion between the two sides showed a mutual desire to take the relations of the two countries to a higher level and strengthen their cooperation.
