Ethio Engineering Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Russian Lada Company to enable the assembly of Lada vehicles in Ethiopia.

The agreement was signed by Ambassador Suleman Dedefona, Director General of Ethiopian Engineering Group and Ilya Savinov, Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Lada Company.

Ambassador Suleman Dedefo said at the same time; The demand agreement will enable the assembly of Lada company vehicles in Ethiopia.

They said that the agreement will be implemented in the next few months.

The products are mainly used for the domestic market; He explained that they will approach other African countries in the process.

ESA reported that Ambassador Suleman added that the agreement has a significant role in strengthening the economic ties between the two countries.

Ilya Savinov, Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Lada Company, pointed out that the strong friendship between the two countries has created an opportunity for them to invest in Ethiopia.

The Russian Lada company is known to be a company with 50 years of vehicle manufacturing experience.
