This surgery involves opening the heart and repairing it by stopping the heart and lungs with a machine that replaces the work of the heart and lungs and requires great care and knowledge.

After this pioneering surgery, Dr. Rufu, who restored the health of more than 400 children of the country; They also successfully performed the first complex surgery in East Africa.

This type of surgery called 'Bental Procedure' is very scary and the reason for this is its complexity. It is done by professors Antu who have worked in heart surgery for many years even in foreign countries that have advanced in this treatment.

In order to help the underprivileged with medical treatment, Dr. Rufe, together with his professional partners, has established a humanitarian organization called 'Healing Valves Ethiopia' and is working with supporting organizations to provide them with free medical services.

Dr. Rufe has also published a book called "The Heart Repairer's Note" which revolves around the heart and lung surgeries he performed.

Recently, the book of the heart specialist called 'Memoir of the Heart Surgeon' has been translated into English.
