Amhara Bank has sponsored the Tana Cup, which is expected to be held from September 6 to 14, 2015, with five million birr. It is also known that the competition will be named as Amhara Bank Tana Cup after the bank bought the ownership of the name. The bank has also entered into a mutual agreement with the government of Bahardar today.

 

It is expected that six to eight domestic Premier League participating teams and two Ugandan teams will participate in the tournament.

 

It is known that the participants of the Premier League will be Bahardar City, Dredawa City, Tusso and Madh, as well as Uganda's Modern Gaddafi and Bull football teams.

 

It has been stated that the co-organizer of the competition, Gofere Arms Manufacturer, will provide cost sharing for both local and foreign teams participating in the competition.
