The Ministry of Water and Energy has carried out various voluntary service activities in Gambella region

It has been stated that the Ministry of Water and Energy and the responsible institutions have carried out various good works in the Gambella region, including planting saplings, starting the renovation of houses for the underprivileged, donating educational materials to students and supporting motor boats.

As Minister of Water and Energy Engineer Habtamu Itefa (Dr.) said when he launched the program; In addition to their regular duties, the leaders and staff of the Ministry and the respondent institutions performed voluntary work in various parts of the country.

He also stated that they have planted saplings of various species in order to achieve the green footprint program in Gambella region.

In addition to this, they stated that one motor boat support for the region, house renovation for 5 elderly people in Gambella city, educational material support for 250 students and laptop computer prizes were given to each of the 20 students who achieved the highest results in their studies.

He also said that the leaders and employees will carry out continuous volunteer work.

Jul Nangal, representative of the regional head of government, thanked the Ministry of Water and Energy for the support given to the region.
