Engineer Health held a panel discussion titled “Respecting Women in the Profession!” with women’s professional associations from various sectors.

The panel discussion was held in connection with this year’s International Women’s Day, which is celebrated under the theme “We need all sectors to accelerate the advancement of women’s rights and gender equality through urgent action,” and the panel discussion titled “Respecting Women in the Profession!”

The panel discussion was held with women’s professional associations from the health, education, science and technology, justice, and civil society sectors, and discussed the achievements and challenges faced by women in the profession, as well as the support they need in the future.

The discussion also discussed the idea that rapid and sustainable inclusive change can be ensured through women’s participation.

Engineer Health Ethiopia It is an international non-governmental organization working on reproductive health; maternal and child health; empowering women and youth; ensuring gender equality and justice; and preventing and responding to gender-based violence.

It currently operates in Addis Ababa City Administration, Amhara, Somali, Afar and Oromia regions. It works in a strategic partnership with government institutions, non-governmental organizations and the private sector to contribute to policy, structural and attitudinal changes.
