Ahmedin Mohammad (Dr.), coordinator of cities and infrastructure sector and head of city and infrastructure office in Amhara region, in the capacity of deputy head of government, visited Debreberhan Industrial Park.

Since the establishment of the park, we have seen that the work it has done to increase the country's economy and to create an efficient and favorable investment and business environment is encouraging, said the official in an article posted on his social media page after the visit.

He said that it is necessary to connect the countryside and the city by completing the work that the industrial park has done so far and transferring other prepared sheds to investors to use the high production available for industrial input in the area.

The official said that Debrebarhan is an industrial city. He stressed that the park should contribute to better productivity and technology transfer by coordinating with Debrebarhan University.

He said that the state government and Debrebarhan city administration will provide the necessary support to the park to create job opportunities for the youth and benefit the city and the local community.

He said that we have left our footprint in the park as part of the green footprint program of the 6th round of planting 7 billion saplings.
