Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr.) discussed with World Bank President Ajay Banga

Addis Ababa, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr.) received World Bank President Ajay Banga at his office and spoke to him.

Prime Minister Abiy (Dr.) and his delegation made a presentation on the Ethiopian economic reform agenda in general.

Prime Minister Abiy (Dr.) said, "The World Bank will expand the scope of cooperation with Ethiopia and contribute to our economic development through concessional financing and strong investment financing through the international financial corporation."

They also mentioned that the World Bank's cooperation will have a sustainable contribution in supporting indigenous economic reform agendas.

Ajay Banga, on his part, praised Ethiopia's attention to key development goals despite facing many challenges both domestically and internationally.
