The newly appointed; Who is President Taye Atsiksilase?

#Ethiopia President Taye Atsiksilase was born in Debarak, North Gondar.

He received his bachelor's degree from Addis Ababa University in Political Science and International Relations.

He holds a master's degree in international relations and strategic studies from Lancaster University in England.

They have taken short international relations and political science trainings and courses in various countries.

In 1998, President Taye was appointed as a consultant in the European Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Head of the Western Europe Department, Acting Director of Information, Counselor at the Federal Embassy in Stockholm, Consul General in Los Angeles as a counselor at the Federal Embassy in Washington, and Ambassador Plenipotentiary in 1998.

In 2008, he served as the Minister of State for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Director General of European and American Affairs, and the Head of the Consulate General in Los Angeles.

He also served his country as Ethiopia's full-power ambassador to Egypt, Ethiopia's Permanent Envoy to the United Nations.

President Taye returned home and became the Prime Minister's foreign policy advisor.

On behalf of Ethiopia, he is the Vice President of the 74th United Nations General Assembly and the Vice President of the United Nations UNICEF Board of Directors.

In the last 4 decades, they have served their country and people with great sincerity, great sense of responsibility and loyalty, and for this, they have received a certificate of honor for their long service as a public servant.

President Taye served his country as the Minister of Foreign Affairs until today.
