Ethiopia won two gold medals for the first time in the history of water sports competition
The Ethiopian Water Sports National Team won two gold medals for the first time in history at the 8th Zone 3 African Water Swimming Championships held in Kigali, Rwanda.
Ethiopia participated in the Zone 3 African Water Swimming Championship in the youth and masters swimming. She won two gold medals in 50m freestyle and 100m breaststroke with Eskdar Achamyeleh.
In the 8th Zone 3 African Water Swimming Championship, the Zone 3 Masters swimming competition in which athletes over 45 years of age and experienced in water swimming participated, the result recorded in Eskdar Achamyeleh was recorded as a bitter victory for Ethiopia and the sports family.
According to the information we received from the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the Ethiopian Embassy in Rwanda expressed great gratitude to the national team for the encouragement they gave to the national team during their stay in Kigali, Rwanda.
