He stated that in line with the policy direction that prioritizes neighboring countries, work has been carried out extensively to strengthen development ties and maintain regional peace on the basis of mutual benefit and the principle of giving and receiving. 

 

He said that Ethiopia has played a leading role in realizing mutual benefit in trade and economic ties, electricity and road infrastructure, as well as water and other fields, EZA reported. 

 

He explained that Ethiopia's maritime border request is based on the principle of mutual development, progress and benefit. 

 

He also said that Ethiopia's joining BRICS is a great success achieved through great diplomatic efforts. 

 

He also mentioned the work of returning many people who were in difficult situations to their countries by prioritizing citizens through citizen-centered diplomacy.
