5G Mobile Network Service in Bale Robe and Asela Cities

Ethio Telecom has launched its fifth generation 5G mobile network service in Bale Robe and Asela cities today. 

 

The company has inaugurated its Southeast Regional Office in Bale Robe to make its services more accessible to the public. 

 

The launch event was attended by Ethio Telecom CEO Frehiwot Tamiru and senior management members of the company, as well as leaders of Robe city and Bale zone and customers of the service. 

 

CEO Frehiwot Tamiru said that the company is on a journey to realize Digital Ethiopia by improving its service delivery. 

 

She said that the fifth generation network service is the fastest and most efficient network service in the world and that the service has been made available in 16 cities in Ethiopia, including those that started service today.

 

He stated that the fifth generation (5G) mobile network service will enable customers to access fast and efficient services that are in line with the times. 

 

He said that the fifth generation mobile network service launched today in Robe and Asela towns will help to better carry out social and economic activities in the towns and surrounding areas. 

 

He added that the company has re-opened its South Southeast Regional Office in Bale Robe to make the services provided to the public more accessible and modern. 

 

He also indicated that the opening of the region will better support the ongoing efforts to provide an integrated telecom and information communication infrastructure to the community.
