Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said that youth need to have a goal to take over the country.
Prime Minister Abiy met with the youth this morning at the conclusion of the national youth forum titled "The role of the youth of our time".
The Prime Minister also responded to the questions raised by the youth.
He said that even though Ethiopia is tired of challenges, it needs to identify and correct the causes of its decline like an eagle to renew its strength and return to its former height.
Prime Minister Abiy has called on the youth to strive for national unity and prepare to take over the country and never allow those who want to darken their hopes for tomorrow.
He said that instead of being preoccupied with negative things, they should look for the positive, prosperity, peace and unity.
He said that all ongoing development projects are planned for the youth who are the hope of tomorrow.
The Prime Minister mentioned that the youth need to have a goal to take over the country. He said that it is necessary to be inspired to lead the country, the continent and the world instead of the neighborhood.
He also emphasized that they should be a generation of inclusion that excels at idealism.
He also announced that the development works carried out in the regions will continue to expand and that efforts have been started to tackle the problem of theft, which is a problem of good governance.
In addition, the information we received from the Prime Minister's Office indicates that the youth are the guardians of the country of tomorrow, and they have called on them to keep their hearts and hands clean.
He also reminded that the youth is a part of the struggle for this journey of success by taking up the works done in the past four years in terms of building independent institutions, strengthening democratic institutions, carrying out development activities, and determining administrative regions.
