Addis Ababa, October 13, 2022 The Ministry of Education stated that more than 560,000 social science students are taking the 12th grade national exam in 130 centers.

The Minister of Education, Prof. Birhanu Nega, and the Minister of State gave a statement regarding the commencement of the examination and the general process.

In the statement, it was pointed out that due to the collapse of the bridge in the main campus of Hawassa, there was an accident among some students and the injured students are receiving treatment.

In addition to this, three high school students from one district who took the exam at Mdalaamba University have left because they did not want to take the exam.

Apart from this, it is stated that the exam is being given in a peaceful manner.
