Industrial Parks Development Corporation's 2015 fiscal year 9 months plan implementation report evaluation is being conducted in Jimma city.

 

In the report, the corporation planned to save more than 125 million US dollars by providing various products to the local market in the last 9 months to reduce the pressure of foreign currency /Import substitution/ and it was stated that it was able to achieve more than the plan by saving more than 129 million US dollars.

 

It was raised in the forum that the registration for the result is due to the great mobilization work done in the past months by reforming the service delivery of the corporation and getting closer to the stakeholders.

 

On the other hand, the corporation was able to earn more than 121 million 934 thousand US dollars from exports in just 9 months of the fiscal year 2015, according to the information we got from the Industrial Parks Development Corporation.

 

The corporation is reviewing the implementation report of the past 9 months and it is expected that directions will be set to strengthen the successes recorded in the review and to work together on the challenges faced in the next 3 months.
