Ethiopia and Japan agreed to work together in the field of horticulture development

Ethiopia and Japan have agreed to work together in the field of horticulture development.

The agreement was signed by the Minister of State for Agriculture and Horticulture in the Ministry of Agriculture (Dr.) and Japan's International Development Cooperation Agency's Ethiopian representative Morihara Kasuki.

It has been stated that the horticulture capacity building project of small farmers has been working in the Amara and Oromia regions of the first phase of the program.

According to the information of the ministry, the contract was signed today to work on the South and Sidama regions of the second phase of the program.

The officer (Dr.) has appreciated the desire of the Japanese government to work with the Ethiopian government on horticulture development.

Morihara Kasuki confirmed that the project will continue to support small farmers in the field of horticulture development.
