More than 1 billion Birr was collected for the Great Ethiopian Renaissance Dam

#Ethiopia The Office of the National Council for the Coordination of People's Participation in the Construction of the Great Ethiopian Renaissance Dam has announced that more than 1 billion birr has been provided for the construction of the Renaissance Dam in nine months of the fiscal year.

The office has called on the community to continue its support to complete the construction of the Great Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.

Regarding the community's participation in the construction of the dam and the results achieved so far, ESA held a meeting with the deputy director of the office, Mr. Tamer.

With this, it is planned to collect 1.5 billion birr from domestic and foreign parties in the nine months of the fiscal year and more than 1 billion birr has been earned, he said.

He explained that the income was collected from bond sales and gifts, 8100 A short text messages, PIN sales and other options.

The deputy director said that the construction of the dam is continuing in good condition and asked for the support of the people to continue to be strong in order to complete it.

He mentioned that since the foundation stone of the dam was laid, 18 billion birr has been provided so far, and he said that by strengthening such support and assistance, let us make the construction of the dam a reality together.
