International Mining Expo opened

 

Addis Ababa, International Mining Expo "Mintex" opened at Millennium Hall.

 

More than 270 local and foreign companies will participate in the expo, which will be held from today until November 3, 2015.

 

Mining companies, jewelry manufacturers and exporters, mining technology manufacturers and importers, and financial institutions will participate.

 

The expo is said to directly connect manufacturers with local and foreign buyers.

 

It is also stated that the participation of foreign mining companies in the expo will give them an opportunity to see the mining investment options in Ethiopia and participate in mining investment.

 

The information we received from the Ministry of Mines indicates that the participation of mining technology producers in this expo will create an opportunity to promote new technological options for the mining sector in Ethiopia.

 

The opening ceremony was attended by President Sahlework Zewde, Minister of Mines Engineer Takele Uma, ministers, regional heads of government and invited guests.
