The National Bank has announced a ban on 38 types of imported products
In a statement issued by the National Bank of Ethiopia today; In an effort to further crack down on the illegal currency market, it announced that it had imposed a ban on 38 products.
Among the products included in this limit are candies, crackers, soft drinks, soaps, perfumes, etc.
Motor-related products include domestic automobiles and three-legged vehicles, and it is stated that this ban does not apply to electric vehicles.
It has been announced that the ban, which will be implemented from today, will last for an indefinite period. It is also said that it is not possible to ask for foreign currency to import banned products.
