Mayor Mrs. Adanech Abebe visited the construction stage of prefabricated houses being built in Akaqi Kaliti sub-city.

 

It is known that the Addis Ababa city administration has come to work by designing various alternative plans to solve the housing problem of the residents.

 

Among them, the construction of 10,000 prefabricated houses being built in Aqaki Qaliti sub-city is one of the modalities. This project was stopped due to a court order that happened at the site, but now the construction is continuing at a high speed.

 

The mayor was also present at the site and made a field observation of the construction situation and set a direction for the speeding up of the construction.

 

The general manager of the Ethiopian Construction Works Company, Engineer Jonas Ayaleum, said that his company will complete the constructions started in a short period of time and will start building new blocks soon.

 

At the same time, Mayor Adanech mentioned that the government has set various options for housing development and called on home seekers and private investors to take advantage of these options to participate in housing development.
