The Ararai Taxi Sector Association filed a complaint saying that the change of office heads has led to abuse!!

 

The Ararai Taxi Sector Association, which is active in the transport sector in Addis Ababa, submitted a complaint to Bisrat Radio that it has been illegally banned by the Addis Ababa Transport Bureau since May last year.

 

The manager of the association, Ato Wardhyfrau Girma, expressed his complaint to our site that we were not accommodated before the existing taxi associations were dealt with and the improvement works carried out by the office were completed.

 

Since two years ago, when we were being dealt with by presenting our request, the manager said that the change of the officers in the office has led us to abuse.

 

The manager stated that the association, which has 900 members, has faced a lot of abuse due to such a loophole in the operation.

 

Although the Ministry of Finance has decided to implement tax-exempt guidelines for taxi transport associations 70/2013, according to the decision, we have been banned from using them.

Ato Wordeyfrau Girma added that the parties directly or indirectly concerned with the issue, including the government, should give us an immediate answer to our question.
