Reporter reports that the Federal Supreme Court has prepared a rule that compels judges to attend hearings. The regulation, which will come into effect in August, replaces an ordinance that has been in place for more than 50 years. The rule requires judges to apologize to litigants if they are absent from hearings due to force majeure. The Code also stipulates what actions will be taken against judges, caseworkers, court staff and court audience who violate ethics.
