The closing ceremony of the 2nd round of public representation discussion forum, which has been held since August 11, was held at the assembly hall of the cluster today.

The speaker of Dredawa Administrative Council Honorable Mrs. Fatihia Aden, Dr. Biftu Mohammed, the representative of Dredawa in the House of People's Representatives of E.F.D.E. They also held a constructive discussion with the residents of the cluster.

The residents of 12 kebeles in the cluster expressed their feelings that the kebele electors came down to the people to hear the voice of the residents and through their representatives, they presented their opinions and questions in detail regarding clean drinking and irrigation water, roads, lighting, education, network and other issues that are in need of solutions in their respective kebeles. On the questions raised, the members of the council who work in the relevant offices and the elected members of the cluster responded and explained that most of the questions raised by the people are taken as homework.

Then, in his closing speech, the Honorable Speaker stated that the main reason for the gaps in the rural clusters is not the lack of attention to the rural community, but the limitations caused by the limited budget stipulated in the charter. Therefore, he mentioned that the administration is using the limited budget released for the city for the rural districts as well, and said that the work of amending the charter is being done to reliably answer the questions that have passed these years. However, he conveyed his message that it is necessary to work together to ensure the development and prosperity of the people by doing works that do not require a large budget and can be solved by the local and community capacity.
