A discussion on current urban issues was held with residents from different sections of the society in the sub-cities of Addis Ababa city today.

 

The discussion forum which focused on the peaceful learning of schools stated that society should fulfill its responsibilities to protect educational institutions and fulfill their assigned mission.

 

At the forum in Kolfe Karanyo Sub-city, Addis Ababa Mayor's Public Relations Adviser Ato Alemayheu Enyagu; They stated that the parties with other political agendas are trying to hinder national development and peace making, especially the schools.

 

However, Mr. Alemayehu stressed that the city administration will take the necessary measures against the problem-causing entities together with the residents and that the property that is being destroyed is public property and should be protected by the community.

 

The participants of the discussion pointed out that parents should work in cooperation with the government, starting from controlling their children, protecting the institutions and exposing those who cause problems.
