Regions and city administrations send greetings to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on his birthday.

Various state capitals and city administrations have sent messages to the followers of Islam to wish them the 1,498th birthday of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

 

In his message, the head of the central Ethiopian region, Mr. Ashashaw Tase, reminded that the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) taught that all creatures of the earth are equal regardless of race and religion in the teachings of Islam.

 

"As Prophet Muhammad taught mercy and kindness to the world, we should follow his example by showing mercy and kindness to other people," he said.

 

Also, in his message about Harari region's birthday, he emphasized that when the birthday is celebrated, it should be done in a way that reinforces the value of helping and supporting each other.

 

On the other hand, the mayor of Addis Ababa city administration, Adanech Abebe, has sent a message of congratulations to all followers of Islam on the 1,498th birthday.

 

In their message, they expressed their good wishes for the festival to be one of peace, love, joy, help and solidarity.

 

In the message of the Benishangul Gumuz region regarding the holiday, he wished all the followers of Islam to celebrate the 1498th birthday of the Prophet Muhammad.

 

On his part, the Governor of Gambella Region, Umod Ujulu, said that when the Muslim people celebrate the festival, it should be by helping, supporting and caring for the needy in a way that strengthens the unity among the people.
