"If Ethiopians join together and work together, if everyone is determined to change the environment, we will make Addis Ababa a reality in a short period of time, with its beautiful cleanness and greenery that befits its name and international status, convenient for its residents!!

Today, more than 845 million birr have been spent in Kirkos Sub-city for 105 people-oriented beautiful and local features; We have also launched projects that will actually change the lives of our citizens.

Projects can benefit a total of 250 thousand citizens and create job opportunities for 5983 people

Among the projects developed are the following;

• 11-storey modern buildings that ease housing problems in 69 days

• 931 renovation and maintenance of old and damaged houses

• 3 feeding centers that feed 2000 citizens per day

• Model urban agriculture works in 8 areas

• A total of 7 bread production and distribution locations

• 23 modernization and improvement works of Sheger bread shops

• 12 works of beautification of roadsides and dividers

• 9 square decoration works

• 4 small youth park beautification works

• School expansion construction work

• 2 car parking renovation work

• 2 youth centers renovation program

• They are also the works of supplying household goods to the residents.

We are slow from our experience. We have learned a lot from our people. From Tagan. We have proven in practice that we can get results if we cooperate.

We have faith and truth that we will change our city in a better way while making the people of Addis Ababa have a modern house and a modern lifestyle there without the need to evict them from their living areas.

I would like to assure you that we will work together with all the residents of our city to make the future of Addis Ababa brighter by taking the experiences of these and other sub-cities that took 60-90 days of construction time to other sub-cities and applying them in a better way!!
