A computer programmer who was born without two hands is called a young majesty officer.
He says that he was born in Gondar and grew up in an orphanage. Girma, who graduated from Addis Ababa University in Computer Science in 2014, is currently working in the Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation.
Magnificence was born without two hands by nature.
"Our society does not accept disabled people. But I have reached this stage by doing the work that any able-bodied person does," he says.
During his time with ABC Cyber Media, Girma said that he joined Addis Ababa University in 2011 and that despite the difficulties of university life, he got used to the conditions and achieved good results.
Girma, who says that while he was looking for a job after graduation, he was called by the Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation and asked to submit his educational credentials.
"I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to the management and staff of ABC for everything they have done for me and are still doing for me. I am currently working as a junior programmer at ABC," he says.
According to Minilik Samuel, the head of ABC's human resource development division, they found the two-armed officer of honor because of the information they received from various sources about the boy.
"However, he was able to be hired because of his outstanding results in both the theoretical and practical tests given by the institute," he said.
Mr. Girma has the potential to be a role model for the disabled and non-disabled members of society, Mr. Minilik said.
He says that he has a message to convey to young people.
"We all have personal problems. First of all, let's overcome ourselves. When we overcome ourselves, when we overcome ourselves, we will benefit ourselves, our families and our country," he explains.
He says that he has overcome many things to reach this stage, but now there are things that are making it difficult for him.
"The main thing that is bothering me is the house. The house I live in now is very cramped, especially I am having a lot of trouble to take a toilet and shower. Now I have to travel long distances to go to the toilets that serve the community," he says.
