Bale Mountains National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site

 

#Ethiopia The World Heritage Committee has decided to register Bale Mountains National Park in the Oromia region as a World Heritage Site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

 

At the 45th United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Conference held today in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Bale Mountains National Park was registered as a World Heritage Site.

 

Bale Mountains National Park is the second largest natural heritage site in Ethiopia and the 11th largest natural heritage site in the world.

 

At the 45th World Heritage Summit, Ethiopia has registered two major tourist destinations as World Heritage Sites, according to the information of the Ministry of Tourism.
