"The government will take legal action against those involved in organized theft and corruption": Mr. Ordin Bedri.

Harari State Government will take legal action against those involved in organized theft and corruption, said Ordin Bedri, the head of state.

The Head of Government stated this in his message on the 19th Anti-Corruption Day.

He mentioned that corruption is a dangerous and cross-border crime that weakens the country's growth, worsens the moral and ethical crisis, prevents peace and stability, and makes people lose faith in the government and the rule of law.

Stating that corruption and organized theft are problems of good governance that the people have complained about, the head of government asked all citizens to do their part to prevent corruption, which is a threat to national security.

He pointed out that the fight against corruption and organized theft is comprehensive, and confirmed that action will be taken mercilessly against those involved in corruption, whether in the government or the private sector.

The head of government, who recalled that the society has been constantly asking for action against corrupt people, said that the establishment of an anti-corruption committee at the state level is a response to the people's demand.

The information we received from the state government's communication affairs office indicates that the anti-corruption fight is not just a one-time campaign but will continue to be strengthened with institutional organization.

In terms of fighting corruption and theft, the head of government has called on citizens to strengthen their participation.
