A photo exhibition was opened today regarding the 125th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ethiopia and France.

 

    Ethiopia and France are countries that have been friends for many years, and especially the two countries have been able to enhance their relations by working together in the areas of transportation, security and safety, economy and similar sectors through diplomatic relations in recent years.

 

      Today, a photo exhibition was opened at the ancient and historical Dredawa Railway Company in connection with the 125th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ethiopia and France.

 

     Speaking on the same day, the Mayor of Dredawa administration, Mr. Kedir Johar, said that although Ethiopia and France have been friends for many years, in recent times they have been making strong efforts to increase their relations in the fields of culture, education and training, as well as the aviation industry. The Honorable Mayor said that Dredawa, the Queen of the Rift Valley, is a pioneer in promoting diplomacy.

 

     In addition to the fact that the train is a significant reflection of the bilateral relations and ties between Ethiopia and France, the Minister of Tourism of the Federal Republic of Ethiopia Nancyse Chalina said that there are works being done jointly with France in other fields.      Ethiopia and France have been friendly countries for many years and have worked together in many fields for many years, Ambassador of France Rémi Marechaud said that they will continue to strengthen the friendship between the two countries and thanked those who contributed to the success of the photo exhibition.

 

      On the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ethiopia and France, the photo exhibition organized at Gehar Railway Station in Dredawa was attended by Mr. Kedir Juhar, the Mayor of Dredawa, the Minister of Tourism of the Federal Republic of Ethiopia, the Honorable Ambassador Nancy Chali, the French Ambassador to Ethiopia Remy Maresho, the Dredawa Administration. Honorable Mrs. Fethia Aden, Speaker of the Council, Mr. Ayele Woldeuhans, Manager of Dredawa Dewele Railway, senior government leaders and invited guests were present.
