The head of government of Oromia region is visiting the wheat fields that are cultivated in clusters

The head of the Oromia region, Shimeles Abdisa, is visiting the wheat fields that are being cultivated in clusters in the Dugda and Bora districts of the Eastern Showa zone.

It has been stated that the Head of Government will start his wheat cluster visit in Barta Sami Kebele of Bora district and continue his visit in neighboring districts.

It is mentioned that more than 280,000 hectares of different crops are being cultivated in Kuta in Eastern Showa zone, of which 188,000 hectares are being cultivated in clusters with wheat only.

In the Oromia region, more than 1.3 million hectares of land in Kuta has been covered with wheat seeds, ESA reported.
