For example, breast cancer, head cancer, cervical cancer, rectal cancer, muscle and bone cancer may require radiation therapy after surgery, depending on their stage.

They also mention that radiation therapy is given before surgery to make the surgery successful.

He also said that radiation therapy is used for palliation, prevention and treatment of life-threatening conditions.

For example, if there is a blockage of the airway in the breathing area of ​​the lungs, it is used to reduce it, if there is a lot of blood and other fluids to stop them, to prevent nerve damage and (to prevent the person's disobedience or paralysis) to implant it, if a bone misalignment or fracture occurs, it is used to reduce and treat the pain.

Radiation therapy is given in two ways, the first is non-invasive (such as CT scan, MRI) where the patient lies and does not move where the radiation is administered, and it is administered remotely without contact with the radiation source (this treatment is known as teletherapy and external beam therapy).

On the other hand, they say that there is a situation where cancer treatment is given in close proximity (this treatment is called brachytherapy).

Dr. Edom said that naturally occurring radiation emitting elements are included in different ways at the location of the disease and radiation is used to treat cancer.

According to Dr. Edom, it is believed that all cancers will at some point require radiation therapy.

They say that radiation therapy can be given to any type of cancer regardless of the condition and stage.

As the disease progresses (usually above stage 2), the need for radiation also increases.
