A delegation of the Minister of Water and Energy and the staff of his institution carried out a sapling planting program in Gondar; They also visited projects under construction.

During the visit, it was also raised that the residents of Gondar city and its surroundings have been suffering from drinking water problems for the past five years.

 

The delegation visited the Mekeke Water Irrigation Project, which has been under construction for the past 13 years for clean drinking water and irrigation, and also visited the Koladba Clean Drinking Water Project, which cost more than 500 million birr two years ago.

 

During their stay in the city, the delegation participated in the tree planting program, and it was also stated that they will participate in building houses for the underprivileged as part of their voluntary winter service.
